JC Airoldi

Biography

JC, a resident of New Hampshire, attended Mass. College of Art and Otis Institute of Art ( Parson School of Design) in Los Angeles, California. After numerous, and varied, artistic careers in areas such as computer graphics and animation, she spent about 10 years working on content for over 15 published titles doing work in storyboards, character portraiture and special effects animation.

This illustrious career in ‘non traditional’ art culminated in JC deciding to paint as a full time artist several years ago. With a passion for the outdoors many of her subjects reflect the varied and magical landscapes of New England. Much as the earlier American Impressionists painted seascapes, dunes, mystical skies, and waterways, JC is following in the same footsteps. Her plein air works are soothing to the viewer and capture the true essence of what it means to be outdoors in this environment.

JC has shown in numerous galleries and exhibitions and has also been a teacher and mentor to other artists in the Northeastern U.S.
