Todd Bonita

Biography

Todd Bonita earned his BFA with honors from the Art Institute of Boston in 1996 and continued his study of classical painting and drawing at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. He has been working professionally as an oil painter, sculptor, muralist and designer for over twelve years, creating works for MTV, Disney, most of the major book publishers, (with artwork appearing in over thirty published books) and hundreds of corporate clients. His artwork is collected internationally and can be found in all fifty states and parts of Canada.

Todd Bonita's oil paintings use simple composition and bold design to help reveal the unique character, emotional spirit and mythical narrative of his subjects. Wether it be a still life, landscape, figure or the beautiful lines of a boat, Todd attempts to elevate these objects of commonplace to something beyond the evident.
