Jessie Pollock, a resident of New Hampshire, is a nationally exhibited artist whose mixed media works incorporate old family photographs, oil painting, and encaustic technique. Her technique with this combination creates a luminescence to each work creating an effect of timelessness. Her landscapes, often of her native New Hampshire home, are abstractions of natural planes, such as mountain and lakes.
Pollock studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her work has been collected in over 500 private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad.
